July, 2010 - We just got the new Funko Wobbly Boble Heads in, they are super cute! Also, new items from Kurt A. Adler are starting to come in. We have put up what we got in so far, so keep checking back. One of my favorites are the new LED Christmas lights.
As some of you may have read or heard, we will be closing our store-front on December 31st, 2008. However, we will still have our online store to meet your Wizard of Oz collectible needs. Not having the physical store will allow us to update and expand our on-line presence. Please rest assured that we are not going "Out of Business" and instead will just become exclusively on-line.
Thank you for your continued support and watch for updates and improvements in our online store.
Mark your calendars now for our Christmas Open House November 14 & 15, 2008! Munchkin Karl Slover will be our special guest during this event and will be signing his likeness "The Trumpeter" which our shop commissioned sculptor Michael Roche to create. This piece is strictly limited in its edition, but you may still pre-order yours now to ensure its availability.
FOR LIMITED TIME ONLY! Enjoy a special 30% discount on select collector plates during this online sale. Many plates are included, so please visit our plate pages and order the plates you need to complete a series or start a new plate series now. Sale is reflected in the current price.
A Word about Water Globes... different manufactures such as San Francisco Music Box Company have started to address customer concerns by including disclaimers regarding snow globes and water globes.
The disclaimers state that water globes and snow globes are not guaranteed to be free of air bubbles. During production, minicule air bubbles may be embedded in the inside figurine at the time water was introduced. Over time with handling, these air bubbles release from the figurine and form a singular air bubble visible at the top of the globe.
They strive to eliminate these irregularities through design and manufacturing techniques. However, they do not consider a minimal air bubble in their waterglobe to be a defect and it is not an indication of the globe leaking or evaporation.
